Mirek Prusinski  – Partner

Mirek was born and educated in Loughborough.  After completing his training and post qualification experience in Nottingham he set up the practice on the 1st December 1981. 

He has a broad range of experience in property and commercial work dealing with freehold and leasehold acquisitions, landlord and tenant work, residential and commercial estate development, business sales and purchases including franchise agreements and transfers. His clients include investors, pension funds, small and medium sized enterprises as well as owner occupiers. He also speaks fluent Polish. 

In addition to his experience in the property sector he is also able to provide a service in private client work dealing with Wills Trusts and Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Inheritance Tax planning and post death variations. 

Away from work he enjoys travelling mainly visiting cities. His favourite destination is Chicago. He likes to keep fit by running and has taken part in several marathons and fun runs.  His main sporting activity is skiing and  also enjoys watching football, rugby, cricket and Formula One motor racing.

 

Andrew Prusinski – Partner

Andrew was educated in Loughborough and attended Liverpool University to read Law. He completed his Law Society professional examinations at the Law College in Chester before undertaking his training contract in Nottingham. He joined his brother Mirek in the recently established practice as a newly qualified solicitor in 1983, where he has practised ever since. Andrew established the Loughborough office in 1985, which has since developed into the firm’s only and main office providing a wide range of services.

He has 30 years experience in dealing with divorce and financial matters and children issues; acting for a broad range of clients including professionals and high net worth clients and dealing with complicated financial issues including pensions. Whilst Andrew has always had an interest in litigation, he also has considerable experience in non-contentious matters including acting for developers and property investors, and continues to act for his own clients in conveyancing and business matters. He also has experience in dealing with a wide range of personal injury claims. He also speaks Polish. 

Outside the office he plays golf badly and follows Leicester City. He is married to Rebecca and has a 15 year old daughter Lucie, with whom he is frequently able to practice his advocacy skills.

  

Clare Swinfield – Chartered Legal Executive

Clare joined the firm in 1990 straight from school. She quickly progressed to become a partner’s secretary and began training to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive by attending night school and day release.  She qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives in 2002 specialising in conveyancing.

Clare has an excellent knowledge of conveyancing and has a friendly but professional approach with both colleagues and clients.  She has established a loyal client following and is continuing to increase her client base through her reputation and recommendations from professionals and clients

Clare is marrried to Mark and has a 8 year old daughter, Isabella.  The family enjoy holidays abroad, trips to Devon to visit Clare’s in laws, and socialising with family and friends. Clare also spends a lot of her spare time ferrying her daughter to dancing, dance shows, martial arts and swimming.
